Introduction to Yoga - A four week series for those students who would like a brief introduction to yoga. Students will be introduced to simple yoga postures, breathing techniques, body alignment, and balance. This series is recommended for those new to yoga as well as those who would like to deepen their understanding of the yoga process.
Beginning Yoga Series - A six week series designed to provide a solid foundation for the beginning yoga student. Students will learn the basics of the asanas (postures), pranayama (breath) and yoga philosophy. Suitable for new and beginning yoga students.
Yoga - A wide variety of classes using dynamic flowing sequence of postures (asanas) connected by the breath (pranayama). Designed to focus and calm the mind and build deep internal strength and flexibility. See level descriptions below.
Sunday Yoga - A rotating class allowing students to experience a variety of yoga branches and teaching styles. Classes include teachings from Shadow, Ashtanga, Anusara, Hatha & Restorative Yoga.
NIA - Dynamic, fluid moves that flow with fun music from all over the world. Offers both structured and free movement to help you sweat, strengthen, and increase your joy. All levels welcome.
Mat Pilates - Mat Pilates class based on principles that tone your core and create a fusion between mind and body. All levels welcome.
Pilates Sculpt - A fun way to increase core strength and toning and encourage deep flexibility with the use of foam rollers and other props. All levels welcome.
Meditation Series - A series of six guided classes that allow you to find stillness and quiet the mind. Each class teaches an easy to use meditation technique based on yoga tradition and allows time to journey into deep peace during silent meditation.
Belly Dancing Series - A six week series designed to introduce the fabulous world of belly dancing. Participants will learn the basic concepts of the dance, explore music interpretation and learn the importance of good body mechanics.
Levels
Level 1 - A foundations class suitable for beginners who have had an introduction to the basic principles of yoga or pilates. Some experience is recommended but not necessary.
Level 2 - An intermediate class designed for students who have an established yoga or pilates practice. Previous experience is recommended.
Level 3 -An advanced class designed for individuals looking for a more challenging yoga or pilates practice. Not recommended for beginners.
